UK based Tullow have indicated their intentions to drill an exploration well in Suriname in 2020.
Tullow along with their joint venture partners (Pluspetrol and Ratio Exploration) have decided to move into phase two of their operations in block 47 offshore Suriname.
The wildcat being sought is prospect is the Goliathberg-Voltzberg North prospect. The prospect lies approximately 260 kilometres off the coast of Suriname, in 1,900 metres of water and is one of a series of leads and prospects on the flank of the Demerara High.
Tullow also has interest in Blocks 54 and 62 in Suriname.
