The Liza Destiny, the first FPSO (floating production, storage and offloading) vessel for the Liza Development in Guyana, is reported to be in Atlantic waters and is expected to arrive within days.

According to OilNow, ExxonMobil Guyana’s Senior Director, Public and Government Affairs, Deedra Moe, said, “We’re nearing another significant milestone on the road to first oil. This is really the last large piece of critical equipment needed as we continue to progress work activities over the coming months.”

The Liza Destiny is designed to produce up to 120,000 barrels of oil per day and also has the capacity to store 1.6 million barrels.
