The Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago continues to partner with the Caribbean Network for Integrated Rural Development (CNIRD) and the International Coastal Cleanup Trinidad and Tobago National Planning Committee (ICCTT NPC) to help protect our coastlines and marine environment.
This Oil and Gas Decommissioning Workshop is designed to bring together operators, service providers, regulators, and industry professionals to explore the technical, environmental, commercial, and regulatory aspects of decommissioning offshore and onshore assets in Trinidad and Tobago. As the country's energy sector continues to mature, this interactive workshop provides a timely forum to share international best practices, emerging technologies, practical lessons learned, and innovative strategies that support safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible decommissioning. Participants will gain valuable insights into decommissioning planning, project execution, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance.

Successful participants will be able to better understand the concept of hazards and risk as well as their roles and responsibilities within a safe system of work. Participants will also have a proper understanding of accountability, responsibilities, and communication within the hazard identification in the workplace. This training is done to the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992.
