Quality Policy Statement
The Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago (ECTT) is committed to meeting members’ and customers’ expectations and fulfilling all applicable regulatory requirements. The Energy Chamber is further committed to the continual improvement of our operations.
To this effect the Energy Chamber has implemented a Quality Management System based on recognized international standards. Quality is everyone’s responsibility at the Energy Chamber and all employees are required to implement the requirements of the Quality Management System in their work areas.
The Energy Chamber has developed our Quality Management System through extensive internal consultation, with the full knowledge that our sustained commitment to quality will be judged by the everyday actions of our employees.
Scope of the QMS of the ECTT:
The current scope of the Quality Management System of the ECTT covers the following:
(a) The provision of Safe to Work (STOW) certification services for companies in the energy and petrochemical sectors;
(b) Individual personnel (PLEA) certification services for employees in the downstream energy and petrochemical sectors;
(c) Occupational health and safety training and other professional and executive development and training services; and
(d) Advocacy and support services to members of the Energy Chamber.
