This course is designed for persons with responsibility for the implementation of the STOW TT Minimum HSE Management System (HSEMS) requirements and covers the requirements for STOW Element seven: Health & Hygiene. Participants will gain the necessary skills required to implement the requirements of this element through activity-based learning with coaching, case studies, group activities and open forum discussions.
Course Objectives:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
• Understand and interpret the requirements for STOW Element 7 as it relates to their company
• Understand the requirements for Element 7 such as developing a substance abuse policy, conducting random & with cause drug & alcohol testing, fit to work requirements, requirements for the OGUK medical for offshore workers, developing & implementing a Health Risk Management Plan, requirements for the provision of medical & first aid services.
