Many organizations are faced with an uphill task of obtaining their own health and safety hazard information from the workplace if their personnel are limited in data collection, instrumentation and analysis knowledge. To merge workplace hazard identification with safety management in a timely manner, organizations will need to train their HSE officers on ways to collect and analyze data from the field for justified decision making.

This workshop is intended to give a real time, hands-on demonstration and training on how ergonomic hazard measurements can be achieved through the development of a problem statement, scope and objectives using instrumentation and hypothesis testing techniques. At the end of this workshop the HSE officer is expected to be better equipped to manage/ measure his/ her own risks at the workplace and design an accurate risk assessment.
