The Energy Chamber presents: “A Ten-Step Guide to Conducting a Procedurally Fair Disciplinary Process”.

This breakfast session describes what constitutes best practice as it relates to taking disciplinary action against a worker.

The steps are collated from case law and experiences before the Industrial Court.

This session provides guidance on commencing an investigative process, laying charges against a worker, conducting a disciplinary hearing and drafting a letter of termination,  I have presented to other private sector companies previously and all (so far) have adopted the Steps recommended as part of their internal HR/IR Policies.
