Online Safety Essentials - Training requirements

 

Before registering for the Online Safety Essentials program, please ensure you meet all the following requirements

To complete your training successfully, you will need:

  1. Computer or tablet with a front-facing camera and microphone. Please note that cell phones are not recommended.

  2. A strong and stable internet connection is required to ensure uninterrupted participation.

  3. Quiet and well-lit space.

    The training is to be completed independently, in an environment conducive to focus and free from any distractions.

  4. Government-issued photo identification for verification purposes

  5. Supported browser:

    Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser (latest version recommended)

  6. Advance payment.

    $562.50 (VI) to be paid before accessing training

  7. Time commitment

    Allocate at least 3.5 hours to complete the training

 

Online Safety Essentials – Registration Process

Please follow the steps below to complete your registration and begin your training.

Step 1: Review the Training Requirements above

Before registering, ensure you have reviewed and met all Online Training Requirements for the course.

Step 2: Complete the Online Registration Form

Once you meet the requirements, fill out the Online Registration Form to begin the process.

Step 3: Make Your Payment

Submit your payment at least three (3) days before your selected exam start date to confirm your spot.

Step 4: Check Your Email

After your payment has been confirmed, you will receive two (2) important emails:

  • Confirmation of Registration

  • Welcome to Link/PLEA Safety Essentials

Note: Please check your junk or spam folder if these emails do not appear in your inbox. Be sure to read both emails carefully for next steps.

Step 5: Access Your Online Training

Use the login credentials provided in your “Welcome to Link/PLEA Safety Essentials” email to sign in to your Link account and begin your online training.
