The last ten (10) years in the Energy Sector have been defined by volatility, transience, uncertainty and structural change. I started my career in 1994 as a Process Engineer at Process Plant Services Ltd, Point Lisas. During my twenty-five (25) year journey, I was involved in start-up and commissioning of Methanol and Ammonia plants at PPSL and IPSL, and offshore platforms, pipelines and new onshore oil processing facilities at bpTT.
Born and Raised in T&T, my family & I migrated to Australia in 1989 and I returned to T&T looking to start my own business in the energy sector but needed to find the right opportunity. My career in the Energy sector began at Trinpet at the age of 17 working on liner hangers, fishing tools and the like.
Dumore Enterprises was incorporated in 1981. It was initially formed by the Jodhan brothers, Dan, Roddy, Joey and Jaisree who are the first generation. I am part of the second generation in the family business.
I started my flying career with Bristow Caribbean Limited (BCL) who had a contract to support Amoco Trinidad Oil Company(ATOC) in Galeota Point. During my tenure with BCL , I was sent to the UK to undertake several programs including Sea Survival Training and was responsible for training all BCL Crewmembers in case the Helicopter ever had to ditch at sea.
