Joel M.C. Pemberton, Chief Executive Officer of DeNovo Energy Limited, signed the Safe TO Work (STOW) Charter on October 24th, 2017 agreeing to use STOW to screen contractors’ health, safety and environmental (HSE) management systems. STOW is a certification programme for contractors’ HSE management systems which is governed by the STOW Implementation Board and administered on a day-to-day basis by the STOW Project Office of the Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago.

DeNovo Energy Limited is an upstream natural gas company focused on monetising proven reserves in Trinidad and Tobago, and is currently developing the Iguana field in Block 1(a), with first gas expected in 2018. It is the most recent operating company to sign the Charter and in doing so, joined 22 other upstream and downstream oil and gas operating companies in support of STOW. A deadline date of May 1st, 2018 has been set for its contractors to be certified to the STOW HSE requirements if they want to continue to do business with the company.
