Hundreds of Heritage Petroleum staff members rolled up their sleeves and got to work, refurbishing parks, restoring fishing facilities, and cleaning up beaches in key communities as part of the company’s annual Heritage Day of Volunteerism (DOV). The initiative, now in its sixth year, underscores Heritage’s deep-rooted commitment to giving back and fostering positive change in the areas where it operates.

This year’s efforts focused on restoring the Victor Chin Kit Park in Point Fortin, refurbishing the Sunset Beach and Fullerton Fishing Facilities, and conducting environmental clean-ups at Sunset and Fullerton Beaches. These projects align with Heritage’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) priorities, reinforcing its dedication to sustainability, community engagement, and responsible environmental stewardship.

The event brought together Heritage employees, community partners, and stakeholders in a collective effort to enhance public spaces and strengthen local ties. Commenting on the importance of the DOV to the company, Heritage CEO Erik Keskula stated, “It is an opportunity to give back to the communities in which we operate, and every one of these communities is important to us.” Through initiatives like the Day of Volunteerism, Heritage continues to demonstrate its role as a responsible corporate citizen while advancing its ‘Bigger, Bolder, Faster’ strategy for sustainable growth and production.
