The Energy Lime – Curry duck and Cricket competition
In celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Energy Chamber (formerly the South Trinidad Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago) we are inviting all our members to bring their sporting and culinary skills as we get together for a day of fun, friendly rivalry, networking and pure energy at the first ever ‘Energy Lime’ a cricket and curry duck competition.
When: Saturday May 23rd, 2026
Where: National Cricket Centre, Couva.
Time: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Curry Duck Competition: 1:00pm – 4:00pm (TT$500 per team; maximum 10 persons)
Cricket: 10:00am – 3:00pm (No cost to participate, but you must register your team of 12)
Who can attend: All member companies of the Energy Chamber and their staff are invited to register. Regretfully, we are unable to include family members and children, at this time.
If you are not into cricket or cooking, but want to be a part of the vibes and action, please still register on-line here, as a spectator (walk with your company ID/badge for quick access).
What you can expect:
A light lunch and a non-alcoholic bar will be provided and members are free to bring their coolers (alcohol is allowed, but the Cricket Centre does not allow any glass bottles).
We are also bringing in Kassie’s doubles in the late afternoon and delicious and refreshing sno-cone after lunch.
All-fours enthusiasts will also have an area designated for friendly, informal matches.
Please note that both the cricket and curry duck competitions allow for a limited number of teams (eight each) so registration and participation is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Deadline for registering: Friday May 15th, 2026 at 4:00pm
