Proman has announced the appointments of Anand Ragbir as Managing Director of Proman Trinidad, and Giselle Thompson, as Deputy Managing Director of Proman Trinidad.

Anand joins Proman from Atlantic LNG, where he was previously Vice President Commercial and Finance, and Giselle joins from BP Trinidad and Tobago, where she was most recently Vice President of Corporate Operations.

Giselle Thompson, incoming Deputy Managing Director, Proman Trinidad said, “With close to two decades of experience in the upstream energy business, I am excited to be joining Proman. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and expertise in the downstream side of our energy sector. The energy industry remains core to Trinidad and Tobago’s economic prosperity, and Proman has enjoyed a long and successful history in this country. I look forward to joining the Proman family and to continuing to apply my skills and expertise to add value to our energy sector and our wider economy.”

Anand Ragbir will start in his new role on 26. May, and Giselle Thompson on 2. June 2025.

Proman Trinidad has been at the heart of Proman’s operations for over 30 years. With 14 petrochemical plants producing methanol, ammonia, UAN and other natural gas derived products. Through its operations, Proman has contributed US$12 billion to Trinidad and Tobago’s economy to date, with CSR investment between 2014-2024 amounting to US$9.5 million.
