SUBJECT: Revised PLEA 10-Hour HSSE Pass Program

The PLEA HSSE Sub-Committee is pleased to advise that a review of the PLEA HSSE Study Guide and Assessment has been completed and the revised document is titled PLEA HSSE ASSESSMENT AND TRAINING GUIDE Version 3- 2022.

This Version 3- 2022 will be available on the PLEA website and The Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago’s website a effective April 3rd 2023.

Successful completion of the PLEA HSSE Assessment programme is mandatory for contracted work for the PLEA Member Companies as a minimum requirement and the content needs to be aligned with the operations. Additionally, new questions have been included in the ‘Assessment’ to address the new modules of the Guide.

PLEA is committed to the following:

• ensuring the safety of contractors coming on site – they must return home to their families without harm;

• reducing any and all instances of contractor related accidents and incidents within the work environment;

• ensuring contractor employees on site have minimum HSEQ competence & awareness to work in PLEA companies.
