Valaris, the company formed after the merger of Ensco and Rowan, has announced a series of new drilling contracts around the world including the Gulf of Mexico, North Sea and one contract extension in Trinidad for two-wells.
According to the company, the Valaris JU-117 (formerly known as the Ralph Coffman) received a contract extension due to the exercise of a two-well priced option with an undisclosed operator offshore Trinidad, with an estimated duration of 60 days from February 2020 to April 2020.
The Valaris JU-117 can drill upto a depth of 35,000ft in a maximum water depth of 350ft.
