Duties and responsibilities: 

The successful candidate will be required to provide strategic and technical leadership to the Geoscience team as well as ensure excellence in subsurface evaluations and reservoir characterization by:

• Managing & mentoring all Geoscientists

• Coordinating Geoscience work and processes 

• Managing and reviewing Geoscience contributions to integrated field studies.

• Reviewing Geoscience reports, memorandums, and presentations

• Ensuring an up-to-date Reservoir characterization (static)

• Constantly cross-checking the latest static characterization against acquired dynamic data

• Encouraging good practices across the Geoscience team.

Desired qualifications: 

• M.Sc. in Petroleum Geoscience (or equivalent)

• Experience: 8+ years in the Geosciences field

Job Title (Vacancy): Junior Petroleum Engineer
Duties and responsibilities: 

The successful candidate will be required to apply data-driven analysis, accurate forecasting, and integrated field studies to enhance well performance and support production enhancement initiatives, ensure reliable reporting, and maintain comprehensive production data systems while contributing to continuous operational improvement. This entails:

• Clear understanding of gas well production: material balance, aquifer support, productivity

• Fully optimization of every well in terms of inflow, outflow and artificial lift.

• Performing well monitoring and performance analysis.

• Creation and follow-up of data acquisition program in well, slickline and wireline downhole production measurement

• Contribution to integrated field studies production optimization & enhancement projects proposals

• Tracking and explaining actual vs. forecasted performances (for baseline and realized projects)

• Ensuring maintenance of an accurate and comprehensive production database

• Performing monthly Production Back-allocation and subsequent reporting

• Delivering reports, memorandums, and presentations.

Desired qualifications: 

• B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering preferably with a master’s degree

• Experience: 0-3 years’ demonstrable work in Petroleum Engineering, experience in Trinidad (Columbus Basin) would be an asset

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (particularly, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Basic Programming (VBA) and Database Skills (Access, MSQL)
