Job Title (Vacancy): Administrative Sales Support - Trainee

  • Duties and responsibilities:
    Provide support to the sales team in Trinidad & Tobago, and the North Andean Region when requested

  • Support the processing of service and parts/replacement offerings for sales team

  • Make quotation requests to the different factories and carry out appropriate follow-up to their respective responses, with the objective of closing the supply process for the end customer, complying with the established times.

  • Manage communication proactively with the different areas of the company that provide information for the elaboration of offers

  • Carry out control and follow-up of requests for offers and responses from customers, with the objective of measuring the time and effectiveness of responses.

  • Support in the preparation of reports and responses to requests, which strengthen the sales team

  • Other support as needed by Sales Manager

Desired qualifications:

  • Recent graduate of a mechanical engineering program from an accredited institution

  • Must adapt to fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in Office tools required MS Word, Excel (intermediate-advanced), Power Point and Outlook

  • Critical Skills: Customer orientation, results orientation, teamwork, recursive and proactive.

  • Committed to working in an organization with a strong commitment to Health, Safety and Environment

  • Flexible to work extended hours during plant shutdowns which can include evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Candidate must pass the PLEA certification within 30 days of appointment

  • Preferably candidates who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless granted a medical or religious accommodation.

  • Potential candidates should be physically fit, responsible, reliable, dynamic and a willingness to work in a team environment
