Crude oil production has been declining consistently since 2005.   In 2005  production of crude oil was over 144,000 barrels per day. At present, T&T produces an average of approximately 64,000 barrels per day (figure up to November 2018).

The peak of Trinidad and Tobago’s  oil production was in 1981 when there were approximately 240,000 barrels of oil produced.  Is there any way to get back up to this level of production?

At this energy luncheon on ‘Boosting Oil Production’ feature speakers will look at opportunities to improve crude oil production in Trinidad and Tobago and critically analyze the below and above-ground factors that will lead to increased production of crude oil in Trinidad.
