You can try but your stakeholders will not be understanding or forgiving and therefore poor handling of a crisis affects your brand image, reputation and profits. Members of the organization, particularly reception staff, must know what to say, how to respond and the key persons in the organization’s incident command chain that is responsible for providing the right information to media, community representative and other stakeholders.
