At the heart of effective communications is the ability to write effectively and Corporate Communications and Public Relations professionals at all levels in industry are required to demonstrate expertise in this skill. As professional communicators, it is important to strike the right balance between form and content, structure and style and involves understanding one’s audience and tailoring written content to suit them. Given the professional communicator’s role in putting together communications materials which are intended to influence the attitudes and/or behaviours of key stakeholder groups, this programme is designed to equip participants with the skills and techniques required to develop content that is accurate, as well as compelling, and craft effective messaging through written communication.
