This course is designed for persons with responsibility for the implementation of the STOW TT Minimum HSE Management System (HSEMS) requirements and covers the requirements for STOW Element ten: Crisis & Emergency Management. Participants will gain the necessary skills required to implement the requirements of this element through activity-based learning with coaching, case studies, group activities and open forum discussions.
Course Objectives:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
• Understand and interpret the requirements for STOW Element 10 as it relates to their company
• Understand the requirements for Element 10 such as identifying foreseeable emergency scenarios & the consequences associated with these scenarios, developing and communicating emergency response plans, identifying required emergency response resources, and inspecting / testing these resources, training requirements for persons with emergency response roles, conducting emergency response drills and identifying corrective actions
• Implement the required policies, procedures and other documentation
