This course is designed for persons with responsibility for the implementation of the STOW TT Minimum HSE Management System (HSEMS) requirements and covers the requirements for STOW Element 10: Crisis & Emergency Management. Participants will gain the necessary skills required to implement the requirements of this element through activity-based learning with coaching, case studies, group activities and open forum discussions.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand and interpret the requirements for STOW Element 10 as it relates to their company

  • Understand the requirements for Element 10 such as documenting an environmental policy statement, conducting an aspects & impacts assessment, documenting a process for identifying foreseeable emergency situations, documenting probable consequences, developing emergency response plans, etc.

  • Implement the required policies, procedures and other documentation

Anyone who is required to implement STOW requirements on behalf of their organisations.
