This course is designed for persons with responsibility for the implementation of the STOW TT Minimum HSE Management System (HSEMS) requirements and covers the requirements for STOW Element 5 & 6: HSE Competency & Security. Participants will gain the necessary skills required to implement the requirements of these elements through activity-based learning with coaching, case studies, group activities and open forum discussions.
Course Objectives:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Understand and interpret the requirements for STOW Elements 5 & 6 as it relates to their company
Understand the requirements for Elements 5 & 6 such as developing a training needs analysis, processes for qualifying internal & external trainers, monitoring the effectiveness of training, developing a personnel database, the requirements for background checks etc.
Implement the required policies, procedures and other documentation
Who should attend:
Anyone who is required to implement STOW requirements on behalf of their organisations.
