This course is designed for persons with responsibility for the implementation of the STOW TT Minimum HSE Management System (HSEMS) requirements and covers the requirements for STOW Element 8: Environmental Management. Participants will gain the necessary skills required to implement the requirements of this element through activity-based learning with coaching, case studies, group activities and open forum discussions.
Course objectives:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Understand and interpret the requirements for STOW Element 8 as it relates to their company
Understand the requirements for Element 8 such as documenting an environmental policy statement, conducting an aspects & impacts assessment, documenting an environmental management plan & programme, identifying roles and responsibilities for persons who support the environmental management system, identifying environmental emergency scenarios etc.
Implement the required policies, procedures and other documentation
Who should attend:
Anyone who is required to implement STOW requirements on behalf of their organisations.
