Norway-based maritime operator DOF Group has secured firm contracts to deploy two of its anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) region.
An undisclosed client has booked the two vessels for a combined duration of 150 days. In addition to the vessel deployment, DOF will also supply remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services for the project. The company noted that the unnamed vessels will begin their transit to the Caribbean, Central, and South American political and economic union shortly.
DOF Group has categorized the financial value of these new agreements as "significant"—a designation the company uses for deals worth between $15 million and $25 million.
This latest agreement builds on the offshore energy fleet owner's recent commercial momentum. It follows closely on the heels of a massive four-year contract award—valued between $100 million and $200 million—which also included the provision of ROV services.
