The Energy Chamber along with its members participated in the International Coastal Clean-up (ICC) 2025 at Quinam Beach, located in south Trinidad. The clean-up took place on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Over 200 volunteers supported the initiative, removing large quantities of trash, which were sorted and categorized into glass, plastics, cans, tires, or miscellaneous waste.

 
 

A major part of the event is data collection. All the rubbish is weighed and recorded then subsequently removed by the Penal-Debe Regional Corporation.

The Energy Chamber has participated in this initiative for more than 10 years, and it remains a key member initiative to provide support to the national community. The beach cleanup has proved to be an excellent team-building initiative for companies who have taken part and has often acted as a catalyst for them to get involved in other volunteer activities.
