Heritage Petroleum Company Limited (Heritage) has installed electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at its Santa Flora Administration Compound and Point Fortin Marine Base, providing employees with complimentary, convenient charging while at work.

Commissioned on 28 September 2026, the stations form part of a pilot initiative designed to improve access to workplace charging and support employees who choose electric vehicles for their commute. The project includes Level 2 charging stations, supporting electrical infrastructure and designated parking spaces at both locations.

“This is a practical green initiative that supports our sustainability goals while delivering real value to employees. By making EV charging available at our facilities, we're helping to reduce our carbon footprint and providing an added benefit for employees who can enjoy no fuel cost while charging at work.” – Kerry Rampersad, CEO (Ag.)

The initiative aligns with Heritage’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) framework, particularly its focus on environmental stewardship. By introducing workplace charging, Heritage is taking a practical step to support electric mobility and encourage lower-carbon commuting choices among employees.
