Massy Wood welcomed three engineering interns from the University of Guyana – Ariff Yusuf, Daniel Sookhai, and Zion Desir – for a week-long immersion into the company’s operations across Trinidad.

The students visited from July 7–11, and they engaged with teams at client sites, gained hands-on exposure to mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering practices.

According to Massy Wood, the students met with CEO, Mala Baliraj and other senior leaders. They participated in technical walkthroughs, project discussions, and attended the annual subcontractor forum.

Beyond the technical exposure, the interns enjoyed the vibrant culture and hospitality of Trinidad, from scenic drives to delicious meals and mall visits. One intern shared, “It feels like a big family here.”

The company said it remains proud of the investment in regional collaboration and the future of engineering.
