The University of Trinidad and Tobago has announced the dedication of the administrative building at the UTT Tamana Campus in honour of Professor Kenneth Julien (Emeritus), TC, UTT’s founding Chairman and President.

The dedication was held on October 31st and marked a historic moment in recognition of Prof. Julien’s enduring legacy in academia and his invaluable contributions to education in the region.

Dr. the Hon. Keith Rowley, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago spoke eloquently about the significance of the event. He commented on Prof. Julien’s unwavering commitment to excellence in not only education but engineering, having inspired generations of students and researchers.

While dedicating the building in Prof. Julien’s honour, UTT Chairman, Prof. Clement Imbert further elaborated on Prof. Julien’s unwavering dedication to education and his commitment as a teacher – a role which he is most proud – which he continues to leave a indelible mark on the industry.

Prof. Prakash Persad, President of UTT, lauded Prof Julien as an inspirational lecturer and outstanding mentor.
