On Saturday September 17th 2016  the Energy Chamber will be once again participating in the International Coastal Clean-up (ICC) on two beaches Quinam Beach, Siparia  and Carli Bay, Couva.

This initiative is the world’s largest volunteer effort to clean up the marine environment. On this day we join with many organizations locally in cleaning up our beaches  in Trinidad and Tobago. The most important aspect of this clean-up activity is the data collectionand recording of the types of garbage collected.

For more information on the ICC TT please visitthe Facebook page on this link https://www.facebook.com/ICCTT/

We are encouraging all members to support this environmental effort as we clean up these two beaches. In order to make this event a continued success, we need you- our Volunteers!  Please join us as we pick up garbage off our beaches in the same manner you supported us for the last five years.

Attached  and for your viewing below is the confirmation form and list of items needed, please fill out and return to administration@energy.tt   and/or ariane@energy.tt along with your Company’s name, number of person’s volunteering on the day and at which beach.

It is a great opportunity for team building within companies  emphasising  the commitment towards corporate social responsibility. The beach clean-up starts promptly on each beach at 8.00am  and finishes by midday. Teams are responsible for their own transport to and from the beach, snacks and brandingvia company t-shirts etc.

Thank you and we look forward to your participation.
