Job Title (Vacancy): Rig Engineer / Company Man

Duties and responsibilities: To analyse, design, plan and execute workover and well completion projects and operations on wells using the Light Workover rig, in accordance with recommended technical and safety and environment practices, to ensure that the project objectives are met. To learn On-the-Job by supporting the Woodpecker Company Man with all rig matters such as with supervision of personnel, operational procedures, inventory management and rig maintenance.

Desired qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in drilling, workover and downhole operations.

• Experience as a Rig Engineer or Company Man

• Experience in working in Drilling or Workover contractor company and/or work as Company Man in a similar position in an operational subsidiary.

• Experience in gas lift and ESP completions, Wellhead installation, fishing, milling and slickline.

• Interpersonal relations, teamwork.

• International Well Control Forum (IWCF) Level 4 certification

• Office software skills

• Good written and oral communication in English.
