This course is designed for persons with responsibility for the implementation of the STOW TT Minimum HSE Management System (HSEMS) requirements and covers the requirements for STOW Element one: HSE Management Leadership & Accountability. Participants will gain the necessary skills required to implement the requirements of this element through activity-based learning with coaching, case studies, group activities and open forum discussions.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Understand and interpret the requirements for STOW Element 1 as it relates to their company

Understand the requirements for Element 1 such as developing HSE policy statements, HSE management and employee roles & responsibilities, allocation of resources for HSE Management, establishing policies for reward and recognition to encourage a positive HSE culture, etc.

Implement the required policies, procedures and other documentation (inspections, checklists, audits etc.)
