Job Title (Vacancy): Mechanic Lead
Duties and responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be required to facilitate the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of offshore mechanical systems, and execution of planned and corrective maintenance tasks.

  • Performing routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment, including compressors, turbines, pumps, valves and rotating machinery.  

  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults such as misalignments, seal failures and wear in moving parts.

  • Leading and guiding the mechanical maintenance team, including Technicians, in executing maintenance tasks.

  • Creating work orders, monitoring progress and ensuring the quality of completed tasks.

  • Performing function testing of critical systems, such as compressor control and lubrication systems, to ensure operational readiness.  

  • Ensuring all mechanical work adheres to the Company’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, industry standards and legal regulations.

  • Overseeing fault diagnosis and corrective actions to restore systems promptly.

Desired qualifications:

  • B.Sc. degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5+ years in mechanical maintenance; supervisory experience would be an asset.

  • Certifications: BOSIET | Mechanical.

  • Strong expertise in maintaining compressors, turbines and rotating equipment.

This Job is: Offshore-based with a 28-day on / 28-day off rotation
