U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy on Oct 28th announced that the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to update liquefied natural gas (LNG) standards for the first time in decades. The update will fast-track new LNG infrastructure projects, lower energy costs, expand export capacity, and boost America’s status as a global energy powerhouse.

Trinidad and Tobago’s natural gas liquids production increased for a second consecutive year in 2025, extending a recovery from the lowest level recorded in the Energy Institute’s 2015–2025 series.
March closed out the first quarter of 2026 with Trinidad and Tobago’s strongest monthly methanol production of the period, completing three consecutive months of growth. Total output reached 1.13 million metric tonnes.
Trinidad and Tobago’s natural gas production averaged 2,541 MMscf/d in 2025, a slight improvement from 2,539 MMscf/d in 2024, according to data compiled from the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries’ Consolidated Monthly Bulletins.

The increase followed two consecutive years of lower export volumes and reflected a modest recovery in domestic LNG production, even as competition in the global market continued to intensify.
Traditionally, energy security has been associated with the availability of natural gas resources and the reliability of supply. The Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) says recent geopolitical tensions have brought another factor into sharper focus: the security of LNG shipping routes that connect exporters with buyers around the world.

This course is aimed at all individuals involved in the Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment in the workplace. Successful participants will be able to better understand the concept of hazards and risk as well as their roles and responsibilities within a safe system of work. Participants will also have a proper understanding of accountability, responsibilities, and communication within the hazard identification in the workplace. This training is done to the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992.
This is a comprehensive programme developed to train and prepare persons to be successful and effective Supervisors and Managers in the workplace. It is structured to cover the 10 key areas of Leadership and Management and its purpose is to teach the attendees the principles of effective leadership but more importantly, how to apply those principles in real-work situations. Additionally, this programme focuses on participants developing their own leadership style and using it to their advantage.
